Our Interns

Felisha Felix

Felisha D. Felix is a Caribbean leader from the U.S Virgin Islands. Her vibrant roots hail from the islands of Vieques and Santa Cruz. Being an empath, black sheep and creative spirit she has always gravitated towards art and humanitarian services. She has worked in the public relations, administrative, social services, case management mental health/addiction counseling, and customer experience sectors from the age of fifteen. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Communications in between building her dream home. She’s married to a hard working musician and they have two young boys. She enjoys nature, helping others, cruising the ocean, archery, theater productions, and writing. Her goals are to have her own live talk show, build a local group home for at-risk youth and run a bed and breakfast. Her hopes as a USFS intern would be to partner with local high schools to promote go green, agriculture, beautification initiatives, and the importance of preservation and preserving our resources. Not only that, but also share the connection to nature and therapeutic aspects; including medicinal uses and mental wellness. Her wish would be to connect students to creative USFS platforms that will build the skills needed to be more confident, earn on the field experience, and respect our unique landscape.
