Douglas Brown hails from Montgomery, AL as a graduate of Brewbaker Technology Magnet School, and he is a graduating Senior majoring in Environmental Science at Tuskegee University. Douglas embraced his love for Forestry as he spent time with his grandparents in Alabama. Spending many summers on his grandfather’s farm helped cultivate Doug’s desire to appreciate nature and embrace a rewarding career supporting the U.S. Forest Service. Douglas spent two summers as an intern supporting the Greening Youth projects in Fort Pulaski, Georgia and Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site in Topeka, KS. Douglas is excited about making a lasting impact in the world around him and unlocking opportunities for his professional growth and career advancement by joining the Hispanic Access Foundation team in Crawfordville, FL as a USFS Forestry Technician. Douglas’ hobbies include baseball, fishing, hunting, golf and bowling. His ultimate career goal is to become a Forester.
