“Hispanic Access is unique in its focus and mission,” said Lamphier Meier. “The organization’s trust-based, community-centered practices highlight its care for the needs and perspectives of the people it works with. These values serve as a great foundation to build long-lasting, positive relationships and make sustainable impact.”
In her new role, Lamphier Meier will conduct thorough research to identify potential corporate partners aligned with the organization's mission and values, develop and execute comprehensive strategies to cultivate and build strong relationships with these potential partners, collaborate closely with internal teams to create persuasive and tailored partnership proposals, and ensure seamless execution of corporate partnerships and alignment with the broader organizational goals.
“Margaret is very passionate for and committed to the mission of Hispanic Access,” said Maite Arce, president and CEO of Hispanic Access. “She has demonstrated a strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising principles and strategies and business development, and she has proven her capability to apply her skills in establishing corporate partnerships.”
Before joining Hispanic Access, she served as the Graduate Assistant for Equity and Inclusion at the University of Lynchburg and worked with Concern Worldwide as a Major Gifts Fellow. As the Development Associate at Hispanic Access, Lamphier Meir provided non-profit and philanthropic funding research, assistance in pipeline management, funding or partnership opportunity identification, data analysis, grant writing, and campaign execution.
Lamphier Meier holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Sweet Briar College and a master's degree in nonprofit leadership studies from the University of Lynchburg.
