“Growing up, I never imagined I would be working for an organization whose mission and values so closely align with my own,” said Rockwood. “I’m excited to use my communications experience to promote further the amazing work that Hispanic Access does to uplift and empower Latino communities.”
Rockwood was previously employed as an Engagement Manager for a nonprofit organization based in Minnesota. She oversaw all community outreach, external communication, as well as social media and marketing. She worked to build a sense of community and promote the importance of free financial resources and services.
"Priscila's experience in graphic design and social media, along with her skillset, will play a huge role in supporting the Communications team branding strategy," said Maite Arce, president and CEO of the Hispanic Access Foundation. "Her passion for creativity and love for the community will make her a great addition to the team.”
Rockwood received her Associate of Arts degree from Lake Superior College and is pursuing her bachelor’s in Marketing Communications from Bemidji State University.
