They will effectively input and manage data into software and databases, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive data collection and sharing of insights, prepare reports and visualizations to present data findings, and provide general administrative support to the Community Navigator program team.

“Angela, Lesley, Evelyn Miguel, and Evelyn Aviles are the ideal people to help ensure the smooth operation and growth of the program,” said Maite Arce, president and CEO of Hispanic Access. “Their proven experience in data entry, collection, management, and analysis will allow us to accurately identify the needs of specific Latino communities and offer them resources.”

Evelyn Aviles has more than 20 years of experience in both an academic and a clinical setting as an administrative professional at Yale-New Haven Health and Yale University.

Angela Conde has a degree in Social Science from California State University, Chico, and experience in college ministry leadership, activism, civic advocacy, and asset-based community development.

Evelyn Miguel has the academic background, proven experience in data entry and management, and skills to successfully prospect outreach strategies and effectively engage the Latino community.

Lesley Zepeda has vast experience in community management, helping with the day-to-day operations of managing communities and properties, which included assisting members with their requests and goals.

The Community Navigator program helps local leaders build climate resilience within their communities by finding and accessing grant funding and capacity-building support. 180 of those organizations will be stewarded through the grant application process for BIL/IRA funding available through the U.S. Forest Service.
