Celebrating it’s 100th anniversary, National Park Service introduced EKIP to provide all fourth-grade students in the country with free admission to the nation’s parks, monuments, refuges and preserves to introduce them to these locations and help foster their connection to the outdoors.
The Hispanic Access Foundation is a proud partner of the Every Kid in a Park Campaign, which supports President Obama’s Every Kid in a Park initiative to provide the Nation’s fourth graders, their teachers, and their families with free admission to national parks and other federal lands and waters. The campaign aims to inspire the next generation of cultural and environmental stewards and make it easy for parents, teachers, and organizations to plan trips to these national treasures.
Now available in English and Spanish, the online portal www.Everykidinapark.org provides resources and information to make it easy for parents and teachers in all communities to plan a visit to national parks and learn about the free Every Kid in a Park pass.
