Anna Calderón Cleland (she/her/ella and they/them/elle) is a 2024 MANO Project and NPS-RTCA fellow who is passionate about addressing water scarcity, understanding hydrological systems in the context of climate change, and community-based science. A recent graduate from Wellesley College, Anna majored in Geoscience and minored in Anthropology, with a special interest in hydrogeology. She is excited to further her community outreach and engagement skills this year while delving into conservation and outdoor recreation planning fields for the first time. They are also excited to have the opportunity to build Arc GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and accessible communication skills this year. In her free time, she connects her academic interest in geology and earth science with her passion for outdoor recreation and exploring natural spaces – being able to climb an outcrop or paddleboard in a lake and understand the hydrogeology behind them brings her great joy.
