Mar Muñoz-Visoso currently serves as the Executive Director of the Secretariat of Cultural Diversity in the Church at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) in Washington, DC. Formerly, she also served as Assistant Director of Media Relations for the USCCB. She co-founded and served as the first Executive Director for Centro San Juan Diego, a community-based nonprofit social service agency and adult education center in Denver, Colorado. Mar has a B.A. in Communications from Universidad Politecnica de Valencia-C.E.U San Pablo in Valencia (Spain) and a Masters in Theological Studies from Madonna University in Livonia, MI. Mar is a published author and speaker. Her main areas of expertise are intercultural competence and relations, and Hispanic/Latino ministry. Mar was born and raised in Spain. She and her husband Rafael have three adult children. They live in Silver Springs, Maryland.
